Rhoda Joan Cole Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Rhoda (Joan) Cole passed away November 22, 2015 at home with family. Born August 10, 1933 to Charles and Bernadine Warnock at Parks Victory Hospital and lived in Napa Valley her whole life. She grew up with four brothers; Don (passed) Chuck, Joseph (passed) and Patrick. She worked at B&V winery in Rutherford. In 1953 she married George (passed) and they shared 58 years together. She had three children’ Dennis (Elizabeth) Deborah Cole Cloud and Richard (passed).; two granddaughters Jena (Jennifer) Lisarae (passed); grandson Cole and her beloved dogs Allie and Belle; many nieces and nephews and brother in law Lee Cole. Joan had many hobbies; raised Shetland sheep dogs, had a large orchid collection, raised tropical fish and exotic birds. She owned a plant store with her daughter. She was a SF giants fan and PRB Bull Riders fan. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and being around family. With her husband and son, she worked the family booth at the Vallejo/Napa flea market from 1986 -1992 she worked beside Geo at Al’s Auto Dismantlers. The family would like to thank Nap Valley hospice. A celebration of life will be held in January. Donations may be given in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Parkinson Association.
