Manola Ozores
February 12, 1916 - February 26, 2013
Manola Ozores, 97, passed away at Queen of the Valley Medical Center on February 26, 2013. She was born in San Francisco on February 12, 1916. She was an employee of Levi Strauss and the Emporium Department Store both in San Francisco. A Napa resident since January of 1992 she had previously lived in Santa Cruz. She said many times that she thought she had lived long enough. She lived to see her children grown…then her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. What more could anyone ask out of life? Though we wish she could have lived forever, we know that hers is a life to celebrate. We’ll miss her, of course, but we take great comfort in the fact that her life was very well lived. She is survived by her two daughters: Barbara (Ed) Marcillac of Fairfield and Linda (Jerry) Ozores of Napa. She has two grandchildren, Linda (Gary) Myers; Charlene Bosso and John. She has two great grandchildren: Joe and Jordan Bosso. She was preceded in death by her husband Angel in 1995. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 1 at 6:00 PM at the Claffey and Rota Funeral Home, 1975 Main Street in Napa. She will be buried next to her husband at Olivet Memorial Park in Colma.
