Anthony Edward Fontana Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Anthony Edward Fontana (47) was taken from his family to be with our Lord on April 29, 2013 while surrounded by those who loved him after a short battle with cancer. Anthony was born September 14, 1966 in Marysville, CA. He was survived by the love of his life, Michelle Ehrgood of Sacramento, his son Thomas (Brooke) of Visalia, his Mother Jennifer Sroufe of Napa, his Sister Katherine Klein (Ken) of McArthur, nephews Kenny and Kyle Klein, his brother Curtis McDaniel (Kattie) of Escalon, his grandmother Betty Sweet of Napa, his mentor, uncle and friend Alex Sweet (Lori) of Napa, and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Vernon McDaniel. Anthony served his country proudly in the United States Army and enjoyed kayaking, hiking and had a passion for cooking which seemed to be evident in all the men in his life and led him to attend the Le Cordon Bleu Academy. Anthony’s passing has left a hole in the lives of many that cannot be filled and he will be sorely missed by all. Memorial services will be held at the Napa Women’s Club, 218 Franklin Street, Napa, CA on Friday May 17, 2013 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Queen of the Valley Hospital Cancer Center in his name.
