Aleksandra B. Mayfield died Dec. 1, 2013 in Napa. She was born in Poland on Feb. 19, 1921 to Miroslow and Zuzanna Alykow. She immigrated to the United States in 1973 and moved to Napa in 1992. Aleksandra (Ola) participated and received many medals and recognitions in Senior Olympic Games since 1992 and was very active at the Napa Senior Center. Mrs. Mayfield is survived by her son Andrew Bain of Napa; and step children Joe, Jan and Jeff Mayfield, all of Napa; grandchildren Gosha (Tony) Parra, Simon (Ruthanna) Szulawski and Ewa Szulawska; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her three husband Joseph Mayfield. Funeral services will be held at Claffey and Rota Funeral Home on Dec. 6, 2013 at 11:00am.
